Sunday the 9th of October 2005 Goldfrapp played at Nottingham's Rock City, as part of their Supernature tour. This has been the first live concert we've been to since moving here to the UK over a year ago (I wanted to catch Rammstein earlier in the year, but never made it). All I can say is that this is going to be a hard act to top. Breathtaking is all I can say. I've been a fan for a few years now, but seeing Goldfrapp in the flesh put the extra layer of icing on the cake.
Here are 44 photos from the evening. Sorry about the quality. We were standing about 3 rows from the front, and there were a few heads in the way... anyway they make good memories for us.
To top things off there was a live recording made of the night, which was sold for a mere £20, a real gem- a double CD in a beautiful glossy metallic gatefold digi-pak. My hat goes off to liveherenow for creating such a stylish quality packaging. A perfect memory I'd say.
